Yes! We are learning about birds every day... where the research stands, heck, being called a "bird brain" is a compliment! Cockatiels and other parrots are very, very intelligent. This is an area with a lot of ongoing research - studying how birds learn help us figure out how to help humans learn. I have also seen some interesting research about the intelligence of crows.Birds are a lot smarter than we used to think. Have fun with your wonderful birds!
